The Wall Street Journal reports Gmail to launch Status update Feature on Tuesday. Gmail now "let people know what you're up to, or share links to photos, videos, and Web pages." Google can launch 250-character or 500-characters short messages post facility or even unlimited. YouTube and Picasa can also be integrated with this feature. Gmail had 176 million unique visitors while Facebook 400 million users, so Google is trying to capture social media users by launching social status update feature.
